Alice Martin is a former Alaskan who was raised in a culturally enriched environment with focus on both the visual arts and performing arts. Her mother enrolled her in private art and music classes beginning at the age of seven. Her work has been exhibited in more than twenty four gallery shows, twelve local and national invitational exhibitions, seventeen regional and national juried exhibitions – while winning major awards in five of those exhibitions and purchase awards in two.
